This week I am focusing on collecting reference pictures for the objects I am going to model for my final room setup.
I looked online on various furniture websites such as Ikea for objects like tables, chairs, barstools, and sofas. My aim was to find at least 3 examples of each object. Even though I would not need to worry about producing this room in reality, I tried to be aware of each objects prices and dimensions.
I also tried to be aware of the materials used in each object. Based off the pictures in the mood boards I made in my proposal, I decided that the table tops would need to incorporate wood, and that my dining chairs needed to incorporate straw in either the seats or the backrest.
