Modelling has taken a lot more time than expected due to complexity of the models and the fact that my skills are still limited.
The fridge in particular has given me a lot of pain, as the design, hinge system and general layout is way more complicated than I initially thought. I'm now onto modelling to Fridge interior, which in comparison is a lot more simple.
I decided to look at some videos about how to do good Blender topology, as the amount of vertices in my models are getting quite high and I need to reduce it if I am to have hope of improving the performance of the Unreal Engine scene. While looking for videos I found a YouTube channel with many comprehensive videos about different aspects of Blender modelling.
This video in particular was about how to create certain furniture including pillows and sofas:
Before this point I had already made a very simple pillow model, but the technique discussed in the video produced a much higher quality result.
