Having designed the top and bottom bars, I went about designing the rest of the page. This began with the top section which would contain the User’s name and a brief description.

I wanted each section to have a unique colour profile and the top of each page. For this page this was purple. Because it was a very simple design, there wasn’t much to do, however, the main difficulty was in working out the profile navigation bar.

My problem was that I wasn’t sure if it would expand beyond the edges of the screen, or how many buttons I would need to add. I only had space for three buttons, which was for a featured, galleries and print section.

For a while I still needed to decide what the shading would look like. As it required me to think in a 3D space and think about if I wanted it to look flat, stick out or dip in? Finally, I decided to make it look slightly curved, I also decided that the bar would be more of a pill shape, rather than a band going from one end to the other. I ended up preferring this more.

Then it was time to decide upon the section where the pictures would go. First I added a background image which ended up being a very simple white-greyish gradient.  For the picture frames, I copy and pasted them from my wireframe and curved the corners slightly.  As with all the other elements, I added a slight gradient to make it appear more 3D.

A big part of the Neumorphism style was that every element would make an impression on the surface behind it, so I had to add some shadows and highlights behind the frames that would affect the background.  I did this by making two drop shadow layers on either side of the frame, turning one dark and the other bright. It took a lot of adjusting, but I eventually got it to look the way I wanted.
