With our decision to make the style of our animation more abstract and simple, it gives way for more story opportunities. While some animations our group looked at on Monday were about a journey, a lot of others were some sort of relatable feeling or situation. For example, one was about the experience of struggling to stay awake in a boring afternoon class or falling ill with a cold/hay fever/flu.
Along the same vein, I think there are plenty of other similar scenarios that can be used for an animation. One situation I thought of was getting pins and needles. There would be many possible ways you could represent this feeling in the medium of animation, which I think could be interesting.
This wouldn't be enough to fill 2 to 3 minutes however, meaning i'll probably need to flesh this idea out a bit more.
It could also possibly be about the journey of a spirit or ethereal entity. Maybe setting it in a forest would be interesting?
