Premiere Practice

As of now, the tutor that's going to be teaching us about storytelling in gaming is still yet to get through HR, so one of our tutors from Monday was covering the lesson for us, and got us to do some editing practice in Adobe Premiere.

We had a lot of freedom on what we could make, and the video clips we would use. For me I wanted to use some movie clips from a movie/series I like and do some funny little edits. I wanted the general feel to be like a YTP (YouTube Poop), which is basically a genre of YouTube video that used to be extremely popular, where someone would use footage from another piece of media, then cutting, mashing up, rearranging, and and doing other edits to completely change the mood and/or add extra moments of comedy.

The session did end up being pretty short though, only lasting until lunch break at 1pm. If I had more time, I would've tried using a greater variety of clips.

This was the result I settled on:

Unfortunately I could not find a way to get rid of the glitches that showed up at the beginning of the timeline, but that was about it.
