Remove the Man Session 3

Taking a man out of the scene

Although it might've taken a bit longer, I would've been fine just clone-stamping out the man from scratch. However, along with the main picture we had to correct, we had been given several reference images which focused on different parts of the building.

This allowed us to save a little bit of time, as by pasting the necessary reference images into the main one, they would cover a lot of space that we otherwise would've had to spend a bit longer clone-stamping over.

The reference images I used in particular were the wall behind the man, and the window, as the reflection of the window also had the man visible in it.

The sign was another thing we had to deal with. The only part that took a bit of time was getting the text right, as I needed to find the font that usually used for street signs. Once I found it, getting it into photoshop took a bit of work as well.

Putting a man into the scene

I found this exercise a lot easier than the last one. The part that needed the most work was the persons shadow, as it needed to be done in a way that'd look natural and match the lighting of the rest of the scene.

Getting the the size and position of the man correct in relation to his surroundings also took a while to get right.
