Degree Project: Late Feb/Early March update

Over the last few weeks, I have been working on assembling my final room layout.

I have finished finding all the furniture I wanted and have been creating rough, low detail, versions which follow the dimensions included on each furniture item's store page.

A lot of these objects were quite simple, but some of the more complicated ones were a lot more time consuming to create. These included such as the sofas, tap fosets, and one of the extractor fans, which had particularly strange dimensions.

This week in particular was focused on measuring my last few objects, putting them into my space and importing the setup into Unreal Engine. I booked in a VR headset so I could make some test videos.

By today I basically achieved this goal, though the videos were quite laggy and overall performance of my setup was poor. I will need to troubleshoot a way to fix this problem and improve performance going forward, especially since the project will be becoming exponentially more complicated in the weeks to come.
