During this week I have made some very good progress on my project proposal. Firstly, my description of the project idea is pretty much finalised. My research from last week also came in handy for filling in a lot of the description and cultural context sections, and I have identified my target audience.
The main part of the project that is worrying me is getting prototypes and tests made before the proposal's submission deadline.
Wednesday ended up being a bit disappointing, as we didn't get to do VR like I thought we would. However, after the email exchange with Josh, he's agreed to go through with me the basics of Unreal Engine next Wednesday, which has made me feel a bit more confident, and will hopefully start making some progress on doing some prototypes and tests next week.
I'm not sure how much he will able to assist me with the VR aspect, but we'll have to see. In the meantime he has recommended I look at a few tutorials and guides online about getting VR headsets to sync with Unreal Engine. I have also downloaded the software on my PC, so I will do some messing around with it between now and next week.
